Earrings Workshop for Summer - 4 Spaces Left!

Make Your Own Pair of Sterling Silver Earrings

Whether given as a gift to a friend, or just an opportunity for you to try something new, this course will give you a hands on chance to give silversmithing a try in a relaxed, small class environment.....

Enjoy a creative couple of hours at my home in Lightwood with views overlooking Cocknage and Florence Park, and make your very own pair of earrings!

I will be on hand to closely guide you and the other participants through each step, to design and make your very own set of sterling silver earrings.

You can choose to make your earrings with any combination of:
-sheppards hook earring wires or closed earring wire or stud posts
-1.5mm wire to make chain earrings or hoop earrings, OR, or 16mm x 32mm to make square or rectangular textured earrings

The steps include cutting your silver wire/sheet, texturing your silver and possibly stamping your earrings with meaningful words, possibly using a blowtorch to solder, adding texture, possibly adding silver granules, and many other skills. Silver and tool use is included in the price, and your earrings will go with you ready to wear at the end of the class!

This workshop typically lasts around 2 - 2 1/2 hours in total and is aimed at complete beginners, but all are welcome. A drink and snack will be provided whilst your earrings are polishing, so please let me know if you have any food allergies.

This is a very hands-on class. If you normally wear glasses for reading, we recommend you bring these. Please wear old clothes that are not loose and closed-toed shoes. Long hair must also be tied back. We currently have no strict age limit on classes but please email us before booking a space for anyone under the age of 16 just to confirm this with us.

Cost: £45 - a deposit of £25 secures your place on the workshop: Click Here.
